Dr. Christian Kühn
Managing Partner
Dr Christian Kühn is a founder and shareholder of Operando Partners. Christian Kühn has more than 17 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, private equity and management consulting. Prior to co-founding Operando Partners, he spent 10 years at the private equity firms Adcuram and DMB – Deutsche Mittelstand Beteiligungen, where he managed investments from initiation to exit. Christian Kühn completed his vocational training in banking and studied business management at the Handelshochschule Leipzig management school and the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. He completed his PhD at RWTH Aachen. Christian Kühn is primarily responsible for the acquisition and financing of our portfolio companies.
Christian Breuer
Managing Partner
Christian Breuer is the founder and managing director of Operando Partners. He has more than 13 years of experience in performance improvement, restructuring, and strategy, and was CFO of a medium-sized B2C company. His career included advising top management and shareholders of major corporations, private equity firms, and family-owned businesses in times of transformation. Christian Breuer completed an apprenticeship in the area of concrete construction and has a degree in industrial engineering (Dipl. Wirtschaftsingenieur) from TU Darmstadt. At OPERANDO Partners, Christian is responsible for the operational business of our portfolio companies.
structure
We invest long-term capital that mainly stems from German entrepreneurial families. For each company, we strive to build the right constellation of investors that not only provides funding, but also contributes to its active development. In addition, Operando’s management and employees commit a significant amount of their own funds to each investment. We also offer key individuals of our portfolio companies the opportunity to invest in the firms as well. This ensures the alignment of perspectives and the highest-possible orientation for our company during implementation.
